Welcome to our little place on the web, we're just a bunch of crazy guys and gals that love to ride and look around this beautiful world on the backroads of the Southeast. Come back as often as you can and help make this a great site to talk about our rides and post pictures of our bikes and travels. Send us your photos and travel stories and we'll post them.                                                                           Thanks,  Larry

Bikers in Paris, TN Our first ride on April 1st. was a great one. Rayzer, Alton & Mano met me at the shop and we rode to Paris to meet up with Bruiser and JD for lunch. JD couldn't take off for the day so he missed a good outing.

Here's Another Cool Video to keep you from getting Cabin Fever while we wait for the ridin' season. Get those bikes serviced and road ready, we'll be heading out pretty soon for some more great rides and fun times.

This reminds me of some of my family reunions with Mom and my crazy aunts>>

Bruiser's Trip to Colorado

After leaving my friend Rocky’s house in Longmont, CO on Monday morning I proceeded toward the foothills on Hwy 66 through Lyons, Colorado where Hwy 66 becomes Hwy 36 and enters the Rocky Mountain National Park. Hwy 36 takes me to a higher elevation into the beginning of Estes Park which is Trail Ridge Road.

Story and Video Clips

Donnie and Bea   Here's Donnie and Bea on their GoldWing trike at the McLemoresville July 4th Celebration Parade. We had a great time until the rain moved in about 7pm and put a hamper on the Street Dance and fireworks. Funds were raised for the McLemoresville Volunteer Fire Department through the Food Booth, Cake Walk and donations. This was the longest parade we've had in several years, I didn't get any other pics but hopefully those that did will send them to me.
Mano at Virginia State line June 5th - 9th

Our "Spring Fling" was a great ride,  lots of beautiful scenery in Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Tennessee and the tip of Virginia.

We met on Friday morning at Alton's shop, with his brother Rayzer, cousin Mano and friend Rick, we left from there to meet with Bruiser at Paris Landing. With a good breakfast scarfed down at Cindy's in Dover we were ready for the day. Weather was super nice, dry and cool the whole day, we rode highway 79 through to Clarksville and then all backroads up through Adams.

June 1976

Well, here's one that is a bit out of date, but I finally got it posted.
This classic old-school chopper was my first build in 1976.

April 24 - 25 2009

Our first overnight trip for this year, Larry, Mano, Rayzer and Al packed up and left for "who-knows-where". We rode out of Huntingdon on Friday morning headed south on Hwy. 22 without any definite plans for a destination, we we're just ready to ride and where we ended up was no big concern, we figured we could decide that as the day wore on.

We made it down to Savannah in a couple hours and it was a toss-up of whether to keep heading south or turn east for some hills and curves, well we do like the curvy roads so east it was.     More photos

March 7 Ride 2009

We left out around 9:30 with Al, Mano, Rayzer, Rick and me, we stopped for breakfast in McKenzie, gassed up and headed north up Hwy.140 through Como, Puryear and Buchannon where we got on Rabbit Creek Road on up to Hwy.119 which turns into Kentucky Hwy.121 as you go farther north. After a few miles we turned of on Hwy.280 and headed to Bruiser's place close to Blood River.

Bruiser led us up through several Ky. backroads and we came out on Hwy.94 close to Aurora and stopped for lunch. We crossed Ky. Lake on Hwy.80 and headed east, turning right at Canton on Hwy.164.      More photos

I don't like to be a doom 'n gloom person but this photos warrants placement and I hope that everyone that sees it will be reminded of what can happen when these idiots using cell phones or texting while they're driving. The driver, her passenger and the bike rider were killed instantly when this girl talking on her cell phone pulled directly into the path of the bike. I hope nothing like this ever happens to you or me, but if it does and I can crawl to the driver of the car, the cops will find them choked on their own cell phone!

Severe laws should be created for use of phones while driving, some studies show that it's more dangerous than being intoxicated. You can have two beers and end up in jail, but you can kill someone because of idiotic use of a phone and only get a traffic violation.
